The News Herald will publish announcements of area interest concerning meetings or events. Announcements, which must be dated and contain contact information, can be mailed to the Sports Department, P.O. Box 1940, Panama City, FL 32402, faxed to the Sports Department at 747-5097 or emailed to sports@pcnh.com. Events that require entry fees or registration costs that don’t benefit charities or go toward the operating expenses of youth leagues or school booster clubs, or toward the purchase of trophies and awards are not eligible, and must run as an advertisement.

Hiland Park Razorbacks registration

Hiland Park Razorbacks youth football and cheerleading registration will be held Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Panama City Mall Food Court. Football players and cheerleaders ages 5-14 can register. Please bring a copy of child's birth certificate and registration fee to register them. Harlem Legends basketball

The Harlem Legends Basketball Show and Youth Basketball Clinic will be held May 16 at Bay High School. The Globetrotter-style performance begins 6 p.m. at John L. Cobb Gymnasium with tickets $15 at the door of $10 in advance. The Legends will play the local Ameris Bank All-Stars comprising many community members. The performance will be preceded by a Youth Basketball Clinic at 4 p.m. with tickets $25 and incluing one show ticket. The event is a fundraiser for Boys and Girls Clubs of Bay County and Bay H.S. basketball. Arnold benefit golf

A four-person scramble golf tournament benefiting Arnold athletics will be held May 23 at Windswept Dunes Golf Club. All alumni and Marlin supporters are invited to join the Arnold coaching staffs in helping raise revenue to benefit all athletic teams. Bill Hopkins Golf Classic

The inaugural Bill Hopkins Memorial Golf Classic to raise money for the Rotary Youth Camp in North Florida will be May 28 at Indian Springs in Marianna. The tournament will be a four-person scramble with modified handicap. Entry is $65 per person and checks should be made out to the Marianna Rotary Club and mailed to P.O. Box 852 Marianna, FL 32447. Gent charity golf

The 22nd annual Gents Charity Golf Tournament will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at Sunny Hills Golf Course. The format is four-person select shot with entry $60 per player and $240 per team. Registration begins at noon. First-place team receives $600, second $400 and third $200, and there will be many other prizes available. Proceeds support The Gents Inc. Rutherford summer basketball camp

Rutherford boys basketball will hold a summer basketball camp from Monday-Friday. June 8-12 at the Rutherford Gymnasium. The camp will be held daily from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for ages 7-16. Mosley benefit golf

The Mosley Touchdown Club will host its second annual golf tournament on Saturday, June 13 at Nature Walk Golf Club to benefit the Mosley football program. Registration/check-in is at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $75 per player or $300 per team. The tournament is a day/night tournament and the entry fee includes 18 holes of day/night golf and lunch. Arnold girls basketball camp

The Arnold Marlin Girls Basketball Camp currently is accepting registrations for the camp held at Arnold High School June 15-18 from 1-4 p.m. daily. All Pro soccer camp

All Pro Soccer will host a soccer camp June 22-27 for serious area players. The camp will be sponsored by the Callaway Soccer Organization and held at the Callaway Sports Complex off State 22. Monday through Friday sessions will run from 5-7 p.m. with a final scrimmage Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Separate instruction will be available for both field players and goalkeepers.
