PANAMA CITY — Jacob Brooks drove in two runs, and J.T. Duncan and Dylan Mason each posted two hits for the Tornadoes in a five-inning win.
Jon Hall pitched the first three innings to earn the win for Bay, which plays at Wewahitchka on Monday.
In the junior varsity game, Bay hurlers Jacob Brown, Spencer Sandlin and Tanner Brown combined for a no-hitter with 10 strikes, and Mason Fox had a double with 2 RBIs in a 7-2 win.

BONIFAY — Seth Bryant pitched six solid innings and added an RBI at the plate to lead the Blue Devils to a season-opening win. Bryant allowed four hits and two earned runs, struck out five and walked two, and Chad Evans added a run-scoring sacrifice fly for Holmes County, which travels to Cottondale on Friday night.
Franklin County 7, Altha 6
EASTPOINT — Franklin County rallied with six runs in the bottom of the seventh, scoring three runs after Corbin Rester’s infield single and a throwing error with two outs. Alex Causey had three hits, and James Newell added two hits and a 10-strikeout effort on the mound for the Seahawks (1-0). Franklin County’s middle school team won 15-0. The Seahawks play at Tallahassee Maclay on Thursday.
R.F. Monroe 9, Blountstown 4
BLOUNTSTOWN — Blountstown pitcher Jordan Herndon surrendered only four hits in six innings, but the Tigers allowed nine unearned runs via six errors. Herndon, who struck out eight and walked seven on the mound, and Lana Wood each posted two hits at the plate for the Tigers.

EASTPOINT — Port St. Joe pitcher Stephanie Brinkmier struck out 10 with no walks in a six-inning, complete-game performance. Ashley Badcock led the Tiger Sharks offensively with two hits, including a triple, and three runs batted in. PSJ (1-0) plays at Blountstown on Friday.
