SAND HILLS — Bozeman’s Chandler Burkett withdrew his verbal commitment with FIU, Bucks’ coach Loren Tillman confirmed on Monday.
Burkett, a defensive lineman/linebacker, visited Maryland last weekend and is leaning toward verbally committing to the Terrapins, Tillman said. Burkett, The News Herald’s Bay County Defensive Player of the Year, will cement his decision on National Signing Day Feb. 6.
