LYNN HAVEN — Alexis Ware scored 40 points to highlight a record-setting Senior Night for Mosley, as the Dolphins dispatched Rutherford 97-37 in a prep girls basketball game at the Jim Redfern Gymnasium on Thursday.
Ware’s point total was a career-high and gave her a school-record 538 points for the season. She bested the previous mark of 523 held by Octavia Langston. Ware also chipped in seven assists and five steals in the rout.
She was one of three seniors honored on Thursday. Fellow seniors Segovia Goodin had 18 points and five rebounds and Hazel White 11 points and six assists.
Hennessey Smith had nine points, 13 rebounds and three blocks. She recorded a school-record 100 blocks this season.
Kiana Yangson scored 11 points and J’nyiah Daniels had eight points and five assists for the Dolphins, who led 49-23 at the half and scored 48 points in the final 16 minutes with much of it played under the mercy rule running clock.
Mosley won the JV game 29-24. Nyiah Grady had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Tyra Williams had six points for the Mosley JV, which finished 3-16.
Mosley (19-5) finishes the regular season at Port St. Joe today.
Franklin County 45, Wewahitchka 39
EASTPOINT — Jessica Smith scored 17, Sage Baker had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Mallory Peak nine rebounds for the Gators (4-13), who host Bozeman today.
South Walton 70, Arnold 68
SANTA ROSA BEACH — Jordan Nowells scored 18, Bevon Stewart 15 and Darius Smedley and B.J. Murray each 11 for the Marlins (4-17), who host Tallahassee North Florida Christian today.
Arnold won the JV game 41-12. Bryce Paton scored 11 and Tyler Minchew seven for Arnold’s JV, which improved to 8-10.
Chipley 66, Holmes County 59
BONIFAY — Trent Forrest scored 34 points in leading Chipley to a 10-0 finish in District 2-1A. Tyrome Sharpe and Kobe McCrary added 12 points each for the Tigers (18-3). Chris Walker scored 25 and Jacky Miles 13 for Holmes County.
Chipley is at Dothan, Ala., today.

ALTHA — Kent Rogers scored 14, Art Platt eight and Ryan Wood six for Altha (8-13), which hosts Sneads tonight.

EASTPOINT — Raheem Wright had 31 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Wewa charge. Clay Sasser scored 16, Jarvis Sherfield and Michael Lister 13 and Jabar Hill 11 for the gators (16-5), who is at Port St. Joe on Tuesday.
