TALLAHASSEE — Elizabeth Vickers scored twice to lead Mosley past Tallahassee Chiles 4-1 in a District 2-6A prep girls soccer semifinal match on Thursday.

Kaylin Thomas and Ally Southerland scored a goal apiece, giving the Dolphins a 2-1 halftime lead. Vickers capped the scoring and gave Mosley a spot in today’s district title match against the winner of Tallahassee schools Lincoln and Leon.

Brie Campbell, Stevie-Marie Mullins, Jordan Lewis and Rachel Bates each had assists. Goalkeeper Mariah Rhinehart made four saves.

The district championship berth also gave Mosley (14-1-2) a spot in the regional tournament. The Dolphins will host at least a first-round match with a victory in the 6 p.m. CST title match.
