PANAMA CITY — Jessica Harris posted two goals and two assists, and Laura Valcourt also scored twice in Bay’s 5-1 win over South Walton in a District 1-2A girls soccer game Thursday.
Sarah Judah added a goal and two assists, and Mackenzie Rine added an assist for Bay, which improved to 14-2-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the district.
Goalkeeper Genevieve Smith made two saves for Bay, which plays Rutherford at Tommy Oliver Stadium on Jan. 8.
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Je’quan Ward tossed in 11 points for Mosley, but the Dolphins couldn’t keep pace in the second half of a 65-49 loss to Coral Gables in the West Ashley Holiday Classic. Nat Dixon chipped in with nine points, and nine players scored at least one point for the Dolphins (2-8). Mosley trailed by seven points at halftime but pulled within 32-28 in the third quarter. Dolphins coach Chris Martello said Coral Gables made most of their free throws down the stretch to pull away.
CRESTVIEW — Rayshawn Patterson dropped in 17 points, but Bay fell short in the non-district game. Markies Goodman added eight points for the Tornadoes (5-6). Bay lost the JV game 55-53 and was led by Domonique Monroe with 15 points. Bay plays at Port St. Joe on Saturday.

CHIPLEY — Tyrone Sharp and Trent Forrest poured in 17 points apiece to lead Chipley to the victory. JJ Holmes added 11 points for the unbeaten Tigers (8-0).
BRISTOL — Wewa’s Raheem Wright overwhelmed Liberty County with 32 points and 17 rebounds, and Clay Sasser added 12 points in the Gators’ win. Wewa (9-2) will play in a tournament at Franklin County beginning Dec. 27. Wewa won the JV game 57-27 behind Jeff Hunter’s 11 points.
North BayHaven 34
PANAMA CITY — Natasha Beach scored a team-high 13 points for North Bay Haven in the defeat. Maddy Adams had 10 points, and Jordyn Wobser contributed with eight points and eight rebounds for the Buccaneers. Mary Myrick led Freeport with 13 points.
BRISTOL — Jessica Smith tallied 24 points, and Mallory Peak dominated the backboards with 20 rebounds in Wewa’s victory.
