Port St. Joe 10, Liberty County 0

BRISTOL — Hayley Wood had two hits with a home run and three RBIs, Shannon Pridgeon three hits and two RBIs and Kathleen Rish nabbed three stolen bases for Port St. Joe in a semifinal win. Stephanie Brinkmeier had five strikeouts and gave up two hits for her 15th win. Port St. Joe (16-7) plays South Walton in the district title game tonight at 6 p.m. CDT.

Port St. Joe 14, Altha 0

PORT ST. JOE —Bryce Godwin was the winning pitcher for PSJ, 11-9, Jarkeice Davis had a hit and RBI, Austin Nobles had a hit and RBI, Corey Burke was 2 for 3, Hunter Baumgardner had two RBIs and Tony Yowell 3 for 3 with two RBIs.

Port St. Joe play at Arnold today.

Bay 12, Wewahitchka 2

PANAMA CITY — Dylan Mason was 2 for 3, Marcus Kinsey and Ben Tatum each 2 for 3 and J.T. Duncan and Rashard Lucas had two hits apiece for Bay. Jacob Brown was the winning pitcher.

Chipley 7, Vernon 1

CHIPLEY — Four seniors pitched for Chipley. Daniel Floyd went 2 for 4 with a two-run home run, Shelby Savell went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI and Nolan Spencer went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI.

Chipley plays tonight in Blountstown.

Holmes County 11, Cottondale 1

BONIFAY — Chase Forehand was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Chad Leavins 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs and Austin Manley doubled and drove in three for Holmes County. Austin Strickland had two strikeouts in four innings for the win.

Softball

Wewahitchka 2, Vernon 1

BLOUNTSTOWN — Wewahitchka extended its season as Brianna Bailey pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts. Naomi Parker had a single to score the tying run. Tara Walding had a sacrifice fly to win the game.

Sneads 11,  Blountstown 1

BLOUNTSTOWN — Sneads scored six times in the third inning and won by the mercy rule. Dharma Lee had two hits and scored Blountstown’s run. The Tigers finished their season 10-17.

Holmes County 3, Northview 0

JAY — Holmes County advanced to its district semifinals with a shutout win. The Blue Devils will meet Chipley in Jay.

PDL 2, Poplar Springs 1

BONIFAY — Eighth-grader Devyn Butorac pitched into the seventh inning allowing five hits and Marissa Powell finished for the save. Freshman Chambleigh Webster had an RBI squeeze bunt in the fourth inning that also resulted in Powell scoring a second run on the play.
